It has been 10 years of me visiting this location and I'm still going to keep my 5 star rating! There's definitely a nostalgia factor at this point because it brings back memories of when I was an intern and this was my splurge meal. But now I come here when I've had a long day and just want some good old fashioned pizza.
I prefer to order in person so I can get the pick-up special prices, guarantee my toppings are right, and have the hottest and freshest pizza possible! I've tried other things on the menu but I always come back to my tried and true pineapple, pepperoni pizza. Full of cheesy goodness, with a good blend of spicy and sweet, and soft and chewy dough. But really, nothing beats the garlic butter sauce to dip the crust in and that's what keeps me coming back!
The pizza can definitely be greasy and I can no longer eat as much of it as I used to, but it's a comforting treat I will keep coming back to. -

We failed to look at the yelp pictures beforehand and had no idea how the pizza slices looked. We were shocked when we opened the box and saw that the slices were the size of 3 slices. At $5 for a pepperoni slice and a can of soda, this place is pretty cheap. The slices are huge! However, the slices are also pretty thin. The food itself came out super fast. We ordered and waited like 2-3 minutes and then our pizza came out in boxes. We were surprised when we opened the boxes. The pizza itself had really soft dough, like it needed to be in the oven longer, which makes sense considering how quickly the food came out. The dough is also really thin so even though the slices are big it's doable to eat and not too big to eat as it initially seems. This place has no seating but there are ledges in there if you're desperate for a place to eat, since there is no seating outside.

Our Girl Scouts troop visited DC on a limited budget. We called ahead and ordered our pizza. When we arrived everything was ready. We didn't have plates, cups or napkins. They were able to provide everything for free and gave us soda for everyone at no cost. I highly recommending a visit to Pizza Boli. We greatly appreciate everything.
